Tuesday, May 31, 2022 (6-7 PM): Initial pre-travel information meeting for Fellows, their parents, and guardians.
Wednesday, June 1, 2022: Deadline to re-confirm participation in writing by submitting via email to: info@nyahproject.org the completed Finalist Supporting Documents in PDF format:
Updated High School or College/University Transcript;
Executed Media Release Form;
Executed Conditions of Participation; and
Digital copy of your signed, valid passport (must show information + signature page)

Health Form 2: Florida Dept. of Health, Miami-Dade Pre-Registration Form
Health Form 3: COVID-19 Safety Acknowledgement + Liability Waiver
Health Form 4: Parent Consent for Yellow Fever Vaccine (to be provided by Health Department)

Tuesday, June 14th (8:00 AM - 1:00 PM): Pre-Travel Health Briefing
Pre-travel health briefing and mandatory vaccinations for fellows with Authorized Medical Provider. Parent/Legal Guardian MUST be present if the Fellow is under 18. Please bring your passport and all documents required for the Ghana visa application.
Appointments will be done hourly between 8 AM - 1 PM.

Location: Health District Center (1350 NW 14th St., Miami, Fl 33125 | 2nd Floor Immunization Clinic)
Parking: Free parking is available on the premises.
*If you CANNOT attend the health briefing, please advise Nyah Project staff to figure out an alternative plan. You may be responsible for getting the same vaccinations on your own time.
Tuesday, June 14th: Deadline to submit the following physical documents for the Ghana visa application (Location: Please bring to the Pre-Travel Health briefing mentioned above)
Your official US passport with at least one blank visa page (valid through January 2023)
One (1) ORIGINAL & SIGNED Visa Application Form
One (1) ORIGINAL, SIGNED and NOTARIZED Nyah Project Parent Travel Consent Forms,
Two (2) Passport Photos (2" x 2"),
One (1) copy of your birth certificate
One (1) copy of your COVID-19 Vaccination Card
One (1) copy of your yellow fever vaccination certificate (will receive during health briefing & vaccination day at FL Health District Center)
For NON-US CITIZENS
Copy of U.S. Permanent Residence Card, Student ID Card or a valid U.S. Work Visa.
For MINORS (Under age 18):
Color copies of your parents'/guardians' IDs
One (1) ORIGINAL, SIGNED, and NOTARIZED official Consulate Letter of Authorization form by Parents/Guardians

Friday, June 17th: Visa applications submitted to Ghanaian Consulate for processing (10-12 days).
Tuesday, June 28th (6:00 - 7:00 PM): Second mandatory pre-travel information meeting for Fellows and their parents/guardians. Location: Zoom
Monday, July 11th: Deadline for Fellows to send a color copy (front and back) in clear PDF or JPG/PNG format of International Student Identity Card to: info@nyahproject.org. Note: Please allow at least 3 business days for them to process your online application prior to receiving your digital ISIC card.
Monday, July 18 - Saturday, July 30, 2022: Western Africa Experiential Learning Program: Ghana
NOTE: All participants must have US Passport, valid through January 2023, for the International Experiential Fellowship Program. If you have a passport issued by another country, please contact us immediately via email at: info@nyahproject.org.
Itinerary
Drop Off: Monday, July 18 @ 11:30 AM. Miami International Airport, Terminal S (South), Concourse H, Departures Level, Delta Airlines counter. Parent/Guardian must be present (for those under 18) and stay until we check in for our flight.
Day 2 (Tuesday, July 19): Travel Day. Arrive in Accra, Ghana.
Day 3 (Wednesday, July 20): Welcome Session + Leadership Lab
Day 4 (Thursday, July 21): Impact Day + Leadership Lab
Day 5 (Friday, July 22): Excursion + Leadership Lab
Day 6 (Saturday, July 23): Excursion
Day 7 (Sunday, July 24): Excursion
Day 8 (Monday, July 25): Impact Day + Leadership Lab
Day 9 (Tuesday, July 26): Excursion
Day 10 (Wednesday, July 27): Leadership Lab
Day 11 (Thursday, July 28): COVID Testing I Masterclass
