THE LINKS, INC. GREATER MIAMI CHAPTER SUPPORTS 2017 NYAH PROJECT EXPERIENTIAL FELLOWSHIP TO NAMIBIA

On May 8, 2017, The Links, Incorporated, Greater Miami Chapter announced a partnership with the Nyah Project during a sponsorship check presentation in support of the 2017 Nyah Fellows upcoming experiential leadership learning trip to the United Kingdom, South Africa and Namibia.

Vandra Gordon Woolfolk, Chapter President, explains the connection to Nyah Project’s mission, “the legacy of the Links, Incorporated as an international not for profit is on the nation’s oldest and largest volunteer service organization of women who are committed to enriching, sustaining and ensuring the culture and economic survival of people of the African Diaspora.”

Nyah Fellows are exposed to prominent leaders from the civic, business and professional community, both locally and abroad, including members of the GMC Links, Inc.

"I founded the Nyah Project to make transformative experiences --rooted in travel-- accessible to all youth," said Leigh Ann Buchanan, Founder, Nyah Project. "Beyond globe-trotting, our fellows learn by doing: from social entrepreneurship and human factor leadership to exploring new cultures."

Through extensive leadership development training and connections to new cultures through service, Fellows discover their true purpose as global leaders.
