Pre-Travel Health Consultation & Required Vaccines
All Fellows must complete their pre-travel health consultation with their primary care doctor and obtain up-to-date vaccines and/or medication listed below. All pre-travel health consultations must be completed by the necessary deadlines.
This program requires the following vaccinations:
COVID-19 - responsibility of the Fellow
Yellow Fever
Typhoid
Hepatitis A
Malaria prophylaxis (oral) - responsibility of the Fellow, the cost of which is determined by your primary insurance provider. Please visit your primary care provider for a consultation and prescription for the appropriate malaria prophylaxis pill, or plan to pay $45 to the FL Health Department for a consultation on June 2nd.
Vaccines 2-4 will be covered by Nyah Project as part of our group immunization day at the local health department:
Thursday, June 2nd at 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM: Pre-travel health briefing and mandatory vaccinations for fellows. Appointments will be done hourly between 8 AM - 1 PM.
All Fellows under the age of 18 MUST have a legal parent/guardian present to be vaccinated.

Parking: Free parking is available on the premises.
*If you CANNOT attend the health briefing, please advise Nyah Project staff to figure out an alternative plan. You may be responsible for getting the same vaccinations on your own time.
