Airport

Amid the bustle of the airport, parents and mentors anxiously said their goodbyes. After a long wait at Miami International and a 3 hour flight, the 2018 Nyah Fellows finally arrived at JFK Airport in NYC.  The next plane ride put us en route to Accra, Ghana … only 10.5 hours away!

We were particularly excited to have Nicole Washington and Tracey Robertson-Carter along with founder, Leigh-Ann Buchanan as our 2018 Fellowship Facilitators. We were also joined by 2015 Fellow, Dwight Spencer Jr, as our Peer Facilitator.
